This second chapter of the addictive Jetpack Joyride is set after the events of the first level. Here, you will again find yourself racing against others in various stages. However, this time around, there is a twist! You will need to collect energy bars in order to move on to the next obstacle. As you move on, you will also encounter obstacles such as spikes, wheels, hoops and homing missiles. The difficulty increases rapidly as you progress from one level to another.

Each level has different mission for you to complete. For example, the second level has a race against all the zombies. The objective is simply to finish the level as fast as possible, while collecting as many hearts as possible. The other missions include capturing balloons and destroying birds. The game offers two control keys for the various aspects of the game and these are F and G. The right combination will give you the right control.

Another interesting feature of Jetpack Joyride is the co-op mode. This is available after you complete the main campaign. To compete with the other players, you will need to build an efficient vehicle and use it to destroy the ones on your way. If you succeed, you will be rewarded with points that you can use to buy upgrades. The more money you have collected, the better your car will become.

The challenge part of the game is quite exciting. It starts when you enter the underground tunnels. There are several zones in this part of the game and they vary according to the theme of the whole platform. Some of them are underwater, above ground, in the middle of the jungle, in the desert or snow. As soon as you enter the tunnels, the other racers also enter the same area. Jetpack Joyride features an interesting control scheme. You can change the acceleration and the time by using the right and left joysticks. The left stick can be used for controlling the speed and the right stick for controlling the turning. Using both sticks together, you can turn the time faster or slower. You can also tilt the vehicle using the left and right joysticks.

When you tilt the left joystick, the speed of the craft increases. Tilt the right joystick in the opposite direction to increase the time. There are four possible levels in Jetpack Joyride.
